I'm a freelance market research & strategic insights consultant who combines strategic thinking, storytelling, and a genuine love for answering questions to help businesses make confident, data-driven decisions that enables brands to grow. I offer full service quantitative market research services.
Now, with more than 15 years working in research, and nearly a decade of honing my skills at leading Australian insights agencies (including T garage, Nature, and TRA Melbourne), the time was right to venture out on my own.
The objective is simple: to support brands and businesses of all sizes - from the smallest one-man-band to the biggest players in the game - to access powerful insights, without the big agency price tag, while still delivering with the impact of a big agency.
Creating Little Duck Insights is the culmination of many years of experience and a growing desire to find a more balanced life for me and my young family.
Before realising my future lay in strategic insights consulting, my life in research began in 2009; researching and teaching in psychology & behaviour change. My research focussed on health and social research, with a particular focus on girls with autism.
In 2016, my career took its first sharp right turn, shifting to the heady world of market research and strategic insights. Since then, I've worked with FMCG and retail brands, enjoying the fast pace and tangible outcomes. But I was shocked (shocked!) to discover my love for the services and B2B industries - exploring the complexity that comes with the “product” being something you can’t see or hold.
I’ve navigated complex and highly strategic segmentations, choice models, demand landscape & market sizing, and customer U&A studies. I’ve also developed and managed business-shifting brand health trackers, and impactful brand positioning studies. My experience is wide and varied across both methodology and industry.
