MACV

MACV is a collaboration of 4 neighbourhood houses in the City of Whitehorse:

- Mitcham Community House 
- Avenue Neighborhood House 
- Clota Cottage Neighborhood House 
- Vermont South Neighbourhood House 

We provide a diverse range of Learn Local courses (also known as pre-accredited training). These courses are short-term and flexible, and are offered at low to no cost to eligible adult Victorians.  Furthermore, these courses can be customised to meet learner and industry needs and are offered both face-to-face, online or via a hybrid model. 

Many Learn Local courses are designed to assist job seekers gain employment and include:

 - Entry level 'taster' courses across high growth sectors (e.g., hospitality, retail, aged care, early childhood learning and trades)
- Digital skills 
- Employability skills 
- Language, literacy and numeracy skills
